December 10th 2008.

Like most people know Tom and I met online playing a game called Dark Age of Camelot. We met online in 2002 and met in person in March of 2003. Shortly after Tom moved to Canada with me.. About a year later we decided to start our lives in the United States. We obtained a fiancé visa and married in a court house in Honey Brook, PA on January 6th 2006.

March 2007 I got tired of doing tech support and decided to try something completely different. I left for Army Basic Training. After 10 weeks of Basic Training I was off to Fort Sam Huston in San Antonio, TX for 6 months of advanced class room training to become a Medical Laboratory Technician. Tom joined me there. In December 2007 we packed up shop and drove in our Beetle from San Antonio to Fort-Lewis near Seattle, WA. We stayed there another 6 months for my hands on lab tech training. Once again, in July 2008, we packed up shop to include 3 cats and a 3 month old puppy. We headed from Washington State to Washington DC for my first Duty station.

I'm currently working at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research on anti-malarial drug metabolic stability studies. I'm pursuing my Associate degree in Health Sciences. I am taking online classes and have 3 more to go.

As for Tom he recently enlisted. He leaves for his 10 weeks of Basic Training on January 7th at Fort Jackson, SC. He then has 20 weeks of advance training at Fort Huachuca in Arizona. Yep you counted right that means that he will be gone until the end of July. My mother will be joining me in March to help with baby preparations. This is where we are now. Holidays are fast approaching and the time before Tom leaves is going by so fast. So much to do and so little time. I'll keep the story going in both the Belly Blog and in my Random Mewings.
